Join the School of Social Work and the School of Law for a Teach-in on Criminal Justice Reform
Learn about the Baltimore/DOJ Consent Decree and the Baltimore Police Department's (BPD) response to the DOJ's finding that the BPD engaged in a pattern and practice of conduct that violates the First and Fourth Amendments of the Constitution as well as federal anti-discrimination laws.
Hear from community organizations actively engaged in advocating for and protecting the rights of marginalized groups disproportionately victimized by police misconduct. Learn how student organizations and the broader UMB community can support their work.
